3) What does NK-9 do?
NK-9 contains AHCC, the ingredient that research shows can provide unsurpassed support for your pet’s immune system. As with humans, a strong and healthy immune systems allows pets to function at peak performance.
4) How much NK-9 do I give my pet?
NK-9, like DGP, our pet joint formula, is given based on your pet’s weight.
60 lbs or less: Give 2 capsules a day for the first week and then reduce to 1 capsule after that.
Over 60 lbs: Give 4 capsules a day for the first week and then reduce to 2 capsules a day after that.
5) How do I give NK-9 to my pet?
Well, you can give it to them one of two ways. You can simply “pill” your dog* or you can open the capsule and sprinkle the ingredients directly on their food. NK-9 is odorless and tasteless so it goes undetected. However, so that the NK-9 is not left at the bottom of the bowl, I suggest a moist food or to slightly moisten a dry food.
* To “pill” your dog means to put the capsule down their throat.
6) Can I give my pet DGP and NK-9 at the same time?
Yes, both products were formulated for different reasons. While DGP was created to promote healthy joint function, reduce inflammation and relieve pain, NK-9 was created to support a healthy immune system. Both products work synergistically to provide your pet with a healthy and happy life. However, our recommendation would be to give you pet each individual product at least one hour apart to avoid competition for the absorption rate.
